For all the 5 Seconds of Summer fans out there, I have some great news, their new live album was released to the US this past December, while fans are still going crazy over the release of their now second album. Not only did their newest album reach number 1 on the iTunes chart once it came out, their 1st album also held its spot for a while and managed to stay in the top ten. Their album has 16 songs, including the live versions of most their first album’s songs, songs that didn’t make their 1st album. The album also has a few covers like Teenage Dream, American Idiot, and What I Like About You. For the fans that can’t buy the album yet the full album is on Spotify and released in Target with a hidden song.

The band members from 5 Seconds of Summer have also tweeted about this over the past months leading up to the release. When the album was finally released, the band tweeted out messages like, “Hope you’re all enjoying the live album!! It makes me super excited to tour next year! Big love,” and, “YES! LIVESOS is out everywhere today, listen to it LOUD! Okay?” The album gives to fans who haven’t seen them live a change to since it feels like they’re right there. Madelyn Phillips (18’) commented on the album, saying it is “Really phenomenal, because it gives fans the feeling that they’re actually at the concert, experiencing the music and screams of the audience without actually being there. It sounds incredible and the entire idea of giving the fans this experience is amazing.” It is evident that the band worked very hard on this album, and that their fans mean the world to them. Overall, their fans are ready to continue support the band and can’t wait to see what’s in the future.
