Ms. Grugan,  a former Padua Academy student, is now a  temporary substitute history and English teacher at filling in for Dr. Hall. While attending Padua herself, she  played field hockey and basketball. When she was in high school, Ms. Grugan thought she wanted to take the path of being a high school math teacher or an Architect. After graduating from Padua, she  went to Mount Saint Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland and Widener University of Law.

Currently Ms. Grugan is waiting for her results  from a bar exam she took last June. “When I started,” she said, ”I wanted to be a prosecutor like on SVU. I  hope to be a corporate, in house, attorney.” In addition to substitute teaching at Padua, Ms. Grugan currently coaches basketball and tennis as well. She aspires to work for a company such as Nike in her future, but is enjoying coaching and teaching at Padua for now.
