The Inner Harbor is one of Baltimore’s main attractions. It is a historic seaport, tourist attraction and popular landmark of the city of Baltimore, Maryland. The term “Inner Harbor” is not just used to describe the water but also the land that surrounds it. It runs from President Street to Green Street east to west and Lombard Street to Key Highway north to south. From the Inner Harbor tourists are able to walk to Camden Yards and M&T Bank Stadium, or catch a water taxi to Fells Point or Fort McHenry.

The Inner Harbor is primarily a tourist attraction, with many stores and activities for people to shop and sightsee. Popular shops are Ripley’s Believe It or Not and clothing stores that line the water. When asked about his favorite part of Baltimore, Matt Davenport, a young boy visiting for the week, stated, “The candy store… I got like ten pieces.” Visitors are able to take rides on paddleboats shaped like dragons or take tours of historic ships docked in the Harbor. The Baltimore Harbor is family friendly and full of activities for people of all ages.
